QuakeCon 2014 is coming! Pre-registration is set to begin for the popular convention tonight, March 5th, at 7pm CT/8pm ET at registration.quakecon.org.
QuakeCon is taking place this year at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas TX on Thursday, July 17 through Sunday, July 20. As always general admission is free but if you want to compete in the BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party, you have to register for a seat. That's the place to be during the event- it will feature thousands of gamers hooking up their systems to play on one network, and tournament winners can earn thousands of dollars in prize money.

Remember, general admission is still but buying one of these packages is the only way to guarantee getting into the BYOC event. It won't be your only chance though- they're going to have giveaways on their Twitter and Facebook pages in the weeks leading up to the show, so keep an eye out there for a chance to win one.
