Users will receive and invite that says, you need to click on the link in order to activate the WhatsApp video calling feature.

The feature is automatically installed on the user's application when it gets the update. After the update, the person can use the WhatsApp video call at his expense. The latest WhatsApp scam comes in the form of an invite for a WhatsApp video call. A link will also follow; that's when a message asks to click on it and activate the feature. The link will lead the user to a totally different website; something that may post threat on the user's personal information.

In case you have been a victim of the latest WhatsApp video calling scam, you can reverse this by uninstalling the current version of WhatsApp on your phone. If you can, it's best to turn off the whole device and turn it on after few minutes.
