"The Originals" Season 4 is already set to be aired next year. There is a speculation that a crossover from 'The Vampire Diaries' is set to happen in the upcoming season.
According to a report in Mobile & Apps, Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) is going, to appear in "The Originals" Season 4. He appears in the eighth episode for the upcoming season. It is already hinted that Alaric is going to look for Elijah (Daniel Gillies) since he needs to deliver a priceless artifact.
Alaric is the fourth character to make a crossover and meet Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and it is happening in "The Originals" Season 4 according to a report in Ecumenical News. Tyler (Michael Trevino), Matt (Zach Roerig) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) already made a crossover to the series.
It has been hinted that a crossover from 'The Vampire Diaries' is coming to "The Originals" Season 4. Caroline (Candice King) has been speculated to join the upcoming season in order to help Klaus heal from the Tunde Blade.
Caroline is a past love interest to both Alaric and Klaus. If she is confirmed to crossover in "The Originals" Season 4, then she will meet the two men who have been a part of her life previously. Klaus and Caroline already parted ways and this goes the same with Alaric. The latter just is still trying to get over the fact of their separation.
Meanwhile, a report from TV Line indicates that there is less information as of yet about the plot for "The Originals" Season 4. The upcoming season is going to have a five year time-jump from the last one and Hope (Summer Fontana) is all grown-up.
She is the daughter of Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and is a powerful vampire. She helps Hayley in saving Klaus from the curse of the Tunde Blade in "The Originals" Season 4. The upcoming season also brings in a new villain that will take revenge on the Mikaelsons.
"The Originals" Season 4 is set to air on March 17, 2017.
