"How To Get Away With Murder" season 3 proves to be as amazing as its previous seasons, delivering shocking and thrilling plot lines. Its pilot episode made a lasting impression as it forced fans to wonder who Annalise saw dead in a flash-forward scene. Closing minutes of the second episode revealed that Bonnie & Oliver are alive, so who failed to escape the house fire? Did Annalise start the fire; is that why she was arrested?

It seems that creators took fans to a whole new level of mystery in "How To Get Away With Murder" season 3. As early as the first episode, fans were confused who Annalise (Viola Davis) saw dead in a flash-forward scene. When it was revealed that Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) and Bonnie (Liza Weil) made it out alive, fans were dumbfounded who didn't make it out in the house fire. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, actress Liza Well shared how the mystery murder could affect the whole season.
"It's pretty dark. It's going to hit a lot closer to home," Weil said to the online publication. "One of us is going to die, and it's going to be very heartbreaking and shocking, and it's not going to be what people expect," she finished off. That being said, creators will reportedly keep the suspense and has no plans on revealing the mystery murder until midseason.

Did Annalise Burn The House?
Aside from the mysterious death inside the house, fans saw Annalise getting arrested. Romper suggests that Annalise could have started the fire intentionally. "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 so far saw Annalise's home burned down with two bodies found, with one still alive. Last Thursday episode saw Annalise sneaked her phone to Oliver to wipe it clean of any evidence. The episode also saw someone got caught in Annalise's plans, making the situation even more complicated.
As of date, fans are left with no clues as to who Annalise saw dead in the pilot episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3. Series creator Pete Nowalk hinted that the unknown dead plays an essential role in the whole series. "How To Get Away With Murder" season 3 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
