"Stranger Things" season 2 will have to answer some questions when it airs next year. For one, there's the big question whether or not Eleven is alive. David Harbour who portrays chief Hopper revealed that the Eggo waffles he left in a box at the end of season one were definitely for Eleven. "He (Hopper) may understand that Eleven exists in some form," he was quoted saying. "And so he's got this box out in the woods where he gives her food."

Hopper's Story
More so, fans can expect that Hopper is up to something in "Stranger Things" season 2. Fans watched him willingly go into a car with men from Hawkins National Laboratory. Harbour also revealed that fans will learn more about Hopper's backstory next season. It appears that her daughter's cancer is much more complex than what it seemed.
Papa Is Alive, Barbara Dead?
Aside from Eleven, Dr. Martin Brenner aka Papa is hinted to survive the attack of the Monster from Upside Down world. It appears that fans will see him again in "Stranger Things" season 2. To recall, he got attacked by the monster but it wasn't exactly shown that he died. However, Matt Duffer has confirmed that Barbara was definitely killed.
