As detailed on the PS Blog, a total of seven characters are now available to download from PSN for Namco's fighter, Tekken Tag Tournamnet 2.
The fighters include ones found among the game's code by a few resourceful players, as well as fighters that were first available as pre-order bonuses. Downloading all the characters brings the already bulging roster of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to almost 60 characters total.
The fighters are listed below:
* Unknown, the boss from both the current, and previous Tekken Tag Tournament. "She" was an unlockable character, but had no fighting style of her own, and mimicked other fighters like Combot and Mokujin did. The Wolf Spirit that hovered above her in the first game doesn't seem to appear in the second game.
* Violet, an alternate costume for Lee that first appeared in Tekken 4.
* Dr. Boskonovitch, who's had his hand in the creation or alteration of any Tekken character affiliated with robotics, from Yoshimitsu to Jack. He's also creator the creator Alisa Bosconovitch, and the kangaroo Roger, and dinosaur Alex. He was one of the only playable characters in Tekken 3.
* Ancient Ogre, the first form of Tekken 3's end boss
* Angel, a palette swap of Devil that debuted all the way back in Tekken 2
* Michelle Chang, mother to Julia, and a fan favorite
* Kunimitsu, ninja-esque former protégé of Yoshimitsu
As promised by Tekken Tag Tournament 2's Game Director, Katsu Harada, "none of them are paid DLC." Additionally, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available as a digital download for $50, which is $10 below its US retail price.
Out now for PS3 and XBox 360, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is expected to be released on the Nintendo Wii U on November 18, 2012, and will launch with all of the aforementioned DLC characters.
