'Palia' Season of Splendor Update Adds New Quests, Seasonal Content, and More

Cozy MMO Palia is preparing for a celebration with the upcoming Season of Splendor update that adds brand new quests, seasonal content, and many more.

A new teaser trailer showed that the upcoming update is basically a Christmas-themed festival of sorts. The developer promises to deliver the conclusion to the game's prologue quest and add new pond plushies, cash-shop items, and holiday decor.

Developer Singularity 6 posted on Discord saying, "Something stirs in the Temple depths," adding that players need to help Subira get to the bottom of a brand new mystery. It added that the Season of Splendor update will arrive on Nov. 21, 2024.

Palia released Winterlights in December 2023 after dropping into beta. It was divided into two patches and features a questline, tree decorating, and a temple that players could explore, according to MassivelyOP.

The addition of more lore-based quests in Palia follows the game getting a series of aesthetic updates and new features. Fans will be able to enjoy more in-game stories when the new Season of Splendor arrives.

One thing that fans are looking forward to with the return of Winterlights is snowball fights coming back as well. The teaser trailer for the update showcased what players can expect to see when the update drops. These include new heroic outfits and a new pet.

There are still quite a lot of things included in the upcoming update that the developer has not yet officially confirmed or showcased. These will all be revealed when the new season goes live, MMORPG said.

A Ton of New Content

Singularity 6 also announced various planned adjustments and optimizations that will make their way to the game soon. Players also expect the arrival of various seasonal treasure chests with the release of the Season of Splendor update.

Plush Trading was a feature that was added in a previous update that gives players more reason to make use of the in-game feature. They can collect a variety of plushies that they can show off to other people, according to Ginx.

In Palia, players can enjoy a vibrant world where they can craft a variety of items and structures to build their own homes. You can also cook different recipes using ingredients. These are things you gather or grow on your own.

There are a variety of fish that you can catch in the many bodies of water that are spread throughout the world. You also have the option of farming with friends to make a better life alongside each other, according to Go Nintendo.
