Trials: Evolution has reached yet another plateaus, as the number of Trials players has exceeded one million. According to joystiq, a total of 1,001,095 players have been recorded on the leaderboards.
Trials had previously set a gaming record for highest grossing sales in a 24 hour period this past April, managing to sell over 100,000 copies. Said record was shattered the following month when Minecraft became available on XBLA.
The sequel to Trials HD, Trials: Evolution is a physics based motorcycle racer that has players guide themselves through tracks offering an immense amount of challenge. Evolution had received DLC this past September, in a package titled Origin of Pain, which likely boosted sales, helping to win Evolution its new found status, all the while maintaining a steady increment of players who pulled their hair from the roots like animals.
