What do soccer and special forces have in common? Watch the trailer below to find out.
Essentially they have nothing in common, but the trailer did teach me two things.
1. Despite my years of experience killing imaginary foes from my couch and lean diet of doritos and pepsi, I'd make for one God awful member of any special forces team.
2. Special forces are definitely tougher than soccer players, and I'd pay good money to see Zidane try and headbutt one of 'em.
The direct sequel to 2010's Medal of Honor, Warfighter continues the story of the Tier One operators, which multiplayer puts you in the combat boots of. The multiplayer in Warfighter features 12 playable Tier One special forces units from 10 countries, including the British SAS, Navy SEALS, and Russian Spetsnaz, all of whom are playable in the beta.
EA really went above and beyond the "Call of Duty," (someone had to say it) using nearly two dozen former Navy SEALS to act as consultants to ensure authenticity of the game. They also released an entire series of "behind the scene" videos in which said SEALS describe just what their job entailed, some of which you can watch below.
