Going to New York Comic Con? Shoot an Arrow or Three at the Tomb Raider Booth

Whenever I shoot off a couple of arrows from my bow in any game, the one thought that comes to mind is, "This would be a lot better if I could do it in New York's Javits Center." Actually, that's not true. I only have that thought when I try navigating the lovely highways and jug handles of northern New Jersey. However, for anyone willing to fire off some arrows inside a crowded convention center, head to the Square Enix booth (#1802) at this year's New York Comic Con, where they're offering the "Tomb Raider Archery Experience."

There you can imitate everyone's least favorite Avenger and test your skill with three arrows. Manage to hit a bulls-eye, and you'll be treated to a limited edition lithograph. For any would be pranksters, fuggedaboutit, they'll be under the strict supervision of the New Jersey School of Archery, so we'll have experts about for tips should you need them.

If virtual toxophily (you can look it up, no one will judge you) is more your thing, Square Enix will be bringing playable demos of both Tomb Raider and Hitman: Absolution with them to Comic Con, as well as an announcement of upcoming DLC plans for Sleeping Dogs.

Square Enix is also part of the NYCC Art Auction for Child's Play Charity. Fan works, signed lithographs and original hand-drawn art by project leads have been gathered from Square Enix properties including Sleeping Dogs, Deus Ex, Hitman, and Tomb Raider to contribute to the cause. The auctions will run through Saturday, Oct. 13, with all proceeds going to the Child's Play Charity.

NYCC starts tomorrow, Oct. 11, and runs until Oct. 14 at New York's Javits Center.
