The official trailer for the new James Bond franchise movie, "Skyfall" was released by MGM and Columbia Pictures. The legendary spy is back with his Walter PPK. The film is 23rd in the Bond series.
Daniel Craig, who's starred in previous Bond films like "Casino Royale"in 2006 and "Quantum of Solace" in 2008 resumes his role as the suave secret agent in "Skyfall."
The trailer gives a glimpse of Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem known for his role in "No Country For Old Me" as blond villain Silva. The movie features the new Q, Ben Whishaw, and a pair of new bond girls in Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe.
The trailer shows Bond being "killed" and M, played by Judi Dench, typing his obituary. Later scenes show M being chastised by Gareth Mallory, played by Ralph Fiennes, after a MI6's active case roster is leaked. Bond returns to duty when his boss M's life is threatened.
The action-packed two-minute clip shows speedy car crashes, exploding buildings, shoot outs and of course steamy shower scenes.
Rumors swirled about the Queen possibly making a cameo appearance in the new Bond flick, but all the talk might have something to do with the opening ceremony skit the two shot for the London Olympics.
"Skyfall" is expected to hit U.K. theatres Oct. 26 and globally Nov. 9.
