While Comic-Con rolls on, so do the announcement videos from Namco Bandai including One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the Playstation Network this fall. Taking place in the One Piece timeline from the start of the manga to, at the very least, the end of the "first part" of the series which culminates in the Pirate community being split in half after two very notable deaths.
The PSN exclusive will feature all members of the Straw Hat Pirate crew as playable characters, focusing on Monkey D. Luffy, the pirate known for his rubber-like body, along with swordsman Zoro, kicking cook Sanji, weather maven Robin, reindeer-cum-doctor Chopper, the pun-tastic Brooks, cyborg Franky and archologist Robin. There's a hint that we may see the second part of One Piece come up in the video, since Robin's able to copy her ability to sending her body parts to any sufface, but we can see she's also wielding massive arms which only happened in the recent story.
Still this footage from Comic-Con is enough to make Xbox fans jealous of the exclusive PSN title. Pirate Warriors comes out for digital purchase on September 25th.
