It's a good day to be collectors_king. The eBay seller has, at this time, sold off the motherlode of every gaming collection for a mere $1,230,699.99. You know, the kind of change you just happen to be collecting under your bed and from birthday cards.
But you better believe the price is more than worth it, as Mr. C_K was in possession of 22 "fullsets" that encompass nearly every Nintendo, Famicom, Sega and Playstation product you can think of. A few of the commesnters on Reddit seemed skeptical that these were complete releases, and maybe so. But the overwhelming stacks of games--even Virtual Boy!--just make our eyes cloud over with the memory of Nintendo games. Maybe these aren't the "complete" complete collections, but even if they're all the Japanese games it's a huge haul.
We didn't even know there was a keyboard for the N64, let alone there was a Mario-themed Dance Dance Revolution. Japan still continues to amaze us, even after we assumed there was nothing left they could shock us with. Maybe this.
The bidding is long over, but check out the complete (Japanese) haul this guy had. If you can get to the end of the list, you'll probably think you could easily fork over a million like whoever bought this set.
