Bandai Namco released their first HD trailer for the upcoming Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 over the weekend. When the original release teased bigger boss battles, they weren't kidding. Taking a sequence straight from the anime, one of the battles will focus on the Third Hokage's desperate battle against the rampaging Nine-Tailed Fox when it attacked the Hidden Village of the Leaf.
There's more defensive building hopping than offense happening, but when dealing with an angry fox the size of a skyscraper there's not much you could be expected to do aside from running. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 made the original promise of being the biggest of the franchise, focusing on the latest events in the Naruto manga which include a massive war between the main Hidden Villages and Madara Uchiha/Whoever Is Really Behind That Mask.
Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is still scheduled for a 2013 release, which could even give it enough time that there could be the hint of a final story when it comes to the manga that's nearly 13-years old.
