Like Indie Games? Then Meet The Recession Bundle

The latest recession special is here for PC gamers. Indie Game Bundles has compiled a cheap, little ditty to help you through the end of this recession and not lose any quality or quantity when it comes to new games. The Recession Bundle is a six-part special that brings back the memory of games like Super Meat Boy, Gunstar Heroes and even a little Ghost Trick-esque puzzle games.

The breakdown is as follows from Indie Game Bundles, "We have gathered some awesome freeware games and a few commercial bonus games with soundtracks for good souls that donate and help the developers -SOS Children's Village Croatia, an NGO organization that provides food, shelter and education for over 250 little ones. All donations will be evenly split between all parties involved - 10% to Charity, 10% to each of the developers and 10% to the organizers."

So, what are the games you get with this recession special? You get six games for free:

"

You probably know Jill as an unlockable character in Super Meat Boy, but did you know that she starts in her own game? And yup, it's tough as nails.

Action Fist is an awesome shoot 'em up in style of Gunstar Heroes. You can play alone or you can ACTION FIST with a co-op buddy. Yeah!

WARNING: Vidiot game is unfit for human consumption and may cause brain damage. You have been warned. We playd it and weer ok.

The Cat and the Coup is a documentary videogame in which you play the cat of Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh, the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran. During the summer of 1953, the CIA engineered a coup to bring about his downfall. As a player, you coax Mossadegh back through significant events of his life by knocking objects off of shelves, scattering his papers, jumping on his lap and scratching him.

A point-n-click pirate RPG adventure game. There are dungeons, bosses, sidequests and secrets in a huge explorable world. Arrrrr. And there be booty.

Tilt the floor to roll a ball through an obstacle course before time runs out. Neverball is part puzzle game, part action game, and entirely a test of skill. Also found here is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game, built on the physics and graphics engine of Neverball."

Now if you actually donate? You get Star-Twine and 8-Bit Night for an "as-you-pay" price. Which isn't a bad deal when the largest option involves a nuke from orbit and $50.
