Despite the release of Pyromania last week, Steam users and PC fans are left with one desperate question: when will the annual Valve summer sale begin?
Normally the sale lasts from June until the end of summer. But this year Valve has been oddly quiet and darn near mum when it comes to any information about when the sale could even start. The lack of any real announcement caused the Internet to do what they do best: overreact, assume the worst and start making unfunny videos!
Other bon mots from around Reddit include Valve being unable to delivery a sale since it'd technically be the third one, or that Gabe Newell is simply tired of all the demands for Half Life: Episode 3 and took the summer off. Compared to last year when Valve pre-dated the sale right before July with the promise of summer camp and pink-eye.
Who knows what devious concepts lurk in the hearts of Gaben, as a majority of the Internet lovingly (and trollingly) refer to the man that secretly keeps another Half-Life from us. We just wish it would happen soon, since if these videos are any indication, further delay will lead to lamer and lamer attempts at being funny. And that's just the opposite of what we need to cool down and relax with our new Optical Masks for the Pyro.
