The Expendab 2 is getting the Xbox Live/Playstation Network treatment sometime this summer with the poor working title of The Expendables 2 Video Game. Developed and released by Ubisoft, the game promises to take place after the first film and lead into the sequel that features 80s action stars like Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis with the cast of the original film.
The playable characters include such aptly named folks as Yin Yang, Hale Caesar, Dolph Lundgren Looking Tired and a freshly sacrificed production assistant used to bring back Sly Stallone one more time. Shogun Gamer found and posted a two-minute gameplay video, which outlined the 4-on-4 co-op and single player functionality before being removed by Lionsgate.
There's no confirmation about a release date or other specs. The Expendables 2 comes out on August 17th, so it's safe to assume the game will appear on random doorsteps begging for a good home around then.
