Sayanora Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations in 2013

Believe it, otaku. 2013 could be the end of the long-running "Naruto" manga, and with it, the Naruto Ninja Storm series. The next release, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 promises to be the definitive game--which says a lot since every game released plays as the story revealed so far into the manga and anime's run. Japanator have high expectations since this game would bring back all of developer Cyberconnect 2, which more of the visually inventive and themeatically bonkers staff were busy pouring all their rage into Asura's Wrath quick-time events.

The third Ultimate Ninja Storm hints it'll go all the way to the end of the series, which is currently wrapping up in the manga around a great ninja war between the five hidden villages and an army of plant clones (no, really) led by a side character that became a chimera of other characters (keep going) under the thumb of an undead 200+-year old ninja (wait for it) who wants to brainwash the world with the moon. There're also massive beasts, gigantic energy blasts and incredible moments of super weapons being unveiled as if it's easy to forget you can punch a hole in a mountain because you weren't serious yet.

This is coming after the mildly lackluster Naruto Ultimate NInja Storm Generations which was more of a cash grab and in-between game, drawing upon a roster of earlier Naruto characters and their aged counterparts. Now we can have the definitive roster, something which all of those Dragon Ball Z games seemed to promise every other year since Budokai Tenkaichi.

At least with this game, we can dattebayo. Uh, believe it.
