Nintendo's Satoru Iwata spoke with the Yoshimuri Shinbun yesterday and made a few interesting remarks about the future of the Wii U and how the Nintendo 3DS created the first profit loss for the gaming giant.
The next-generation Wii U will definitely be based around "reasonable" affordability according to Andriasang, who translated the original interview. The Shinbun spoke with an analyst that commented in order to be profitable by normal Nintendo standards, the Wii U would require a 30,000 Yen price point at launch, or roughly $400 in the U.S.
