The "Allies" update for Star Wars: The Old Republic bring four community-driven updates to the MMORPG that users have requested from Bioware.
"We are living up to our commitment in setting a new bar for what players should expect from a premium MMO service," said Matthew Bromberg, General Manager of BioWare Austin. "In just six months, we have already released three major game updates that have added new content and game features that have addressed the feedback from our fans. And we are just getting started. By the end of this year, we are adding more Warzones, more Flashpoints, more Operations, more updates to the Legacy System, new companions, new storylines and more. We are very excited about the future."
Still, this isn't the end of the year. So what does Bioware dangle in front of players to keep them in a Force-infused trance? Group Finder, Ranked Warzones, Legacy Character Perks and Adaptive Gear are Bioware's peace offering to the players. The update's focused primarily on PvP and grinding along with keeping certain online perks, which the Adaptive Gear is set to do. Group Finder will make it easier to find your friends and to hook up with clans for certain missions, while the Character Perks will let you specialize what type of format you enjoy more.
Then again, the cult of SWTOR is as fanatical as being a Jedi so these updates will be welcomed with open arms. The 1.3 Update is avaliable now.
