The news on Apple’s next generation of iPhone is stirring up the online communities as fans are eagerly expecting the new smartphone to triumph over all the Android-based phones that are being released. Apple has not said anything official about the release date, but it is widely assumed that the next device, dubbed iPhone 5, may be released this fall along with iOS 6.
But if the release happens sooner, there may be a real treat to take your awesome iPhone 5 to the beach . And it could go, hold your breath, even underwater.
As an accessory from a third-party company, the iPhone Scuba Suite from Photojojo provides 100 percent waterproof casing for the smartphone up to 15 feet deep. The suite allows for the users to take the iPhone underwater and take impressive photos.
“Fortunately, with an iPhone Scuba Suit, your iPhone can fulfill its fantasies of subaqueous photo expeditions. It’s a 100% water-proof case that’ll give you the dreamiest underwater iPhone photos,” wrote PHotojojo.
The Scube Suite keeps all the buttons of the handset accessible underwater and the touch-screen can also response through the specialized screen gel. The Scuba Suite has waterproof cover for the lens and headphone jack, allowing iPhone users to take photos and listen to music underwater. In addition, it only adds 0.5 inch thickness to your iPhone.
Scuba Suite is now available in the online Photojojo store for $60.
There were waterproof covers for iPhone before but most of them only allowed less than a foot deep, and the touch screen was not sensitive enough.
Apple has been reportedly to think about incorporating the waterproof technology into iPhone.
