The latest trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is a culmination of all the recent teasers being pressed together before July 20th. But it's all scenes we've been familiar with since the first teasers: Bane's sky-jacking of a plane, the imploding Gotham Knights stadium and the culminative brawl between Batman and the GCPD against Bane and his collection of militant 99-percenters.
The few brief glimpses that are new come from a bearded Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) stating, "I'm not afriad. I'm angry." And Lucius Fox asking a freshly shaven Wayne if he remembers where he parked the Batmobile in his remote "Batcave"-lite from The Dark Knight. There's even a few seconds of Bane, mockingly refering to Batman as Bruce, leaping into the air and dominating the Caped Crusader. It's been a while since we've ever seen someone dominate Christopher Nolan's Batman, let alone catch his fist in mid-air.
The Dark Knight opens next month, but AMC will be having special trilogy screenings starting on July 19th.
