Remember that time Death visited the citizens of Westeros? Ok, aside from every episode of Game of Thrones we're specifically talking about the latest trailer for Darksiders II. As a priest reads from Revelations, the church's congregation are surrounded by all sorts of demonic creatures and winged dragon-ish things. At the same time, the blankl skull-faced Death is taking both of his scythes to (and through) the door.
This is purely an atmospheric trailer like the initial Prototype 2 set to Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt." Only instead of an ode to self-destruction, we have Ron Donachie, better known to Game of Thrones fabs as Ser Rodrik Cassel, as a priest giving a final sermon before the demons at the gate break down the door. So rather than meet a certain end once again, Death actually saves good Ser Rodrik.
Darksiders II comes out on August 14th.
