Marvel's Avengers Alliance is one of the more developed games avaliable on Facebook. The turn-based RPG, which could easily backrupt you thanks to its unlocking system that heavily relies on in-game purchases, has a very specific look to it. Well, wonder no more since the team from Playdom go into how Alliance "looks like nothing else on Facebook."
They go more into the "filmic" look in the production video, citing concept art from Captain America: The First Avenger as a key influence on how Cap appears in game, but also the other characters who may not have yet appeared in the Marvel film universe.
