Apple made an announcement that Diablo 3 will be upgraded in order to make use of the new Retina Display of the new Macbook Pro during Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. The updated laptop model will feature a 2800 x 1800 resolution, making game play look even more impressive than ever.
After seeing the new display, the screen on the current MacBook Pro does not look sharp enough anymore. The upgrade will stop the issue for good, at least for those who buys the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
Phil Schiller made a promise saying, “you will see a gaming experience with this resolution that you have never seen before.”
Since Apple has never been a big name in the gaming community, this latest product from Apple may indicate a shift in the future. Although they have a long way to go if Apple wants to race with the PC, they are now taking the first step in the long race.
The enhanced notbook will sell for at least $ 2,199 and its shipping began on Monday. But due to overwhelming popularity, the shipping time has been delayed to 3-4 weeks.
Other features of the new MacBook Pro with Retina display that will further enhance your gaming experience include up to 2.7GHz quad-core i7, 16GB of DDR3L SDRAM, 768GB Flash Storage, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M complete with 1GB of GDDR5 memory.
