While Apple is busy with announcing their new hot products and software at Worldwide Developers Conference, Samsung is on its way to plan for the launch of the anticipated Galaxy S3 on time.
What’s more, Samsung will be offering a special red edition for AT&T customers in the United States later, while this smart phone is only available in marble white and pebble blue in the rest of the worldwide market.
Last week, Apple tried to make a legal ban to stop Galaxy S3 into the U.S. market, claiming that the Samsung’s flagship device infringes two of its iPhone patents. Samsung fought back, saying Galaxy S3 is unique and distinctive.
"We will continue to take all available measures to oppose Apple's attempts to disrupt consumer access to the Galaxy S III. We will also ensure that the U.S. launch and sales of the Galaxy S III will proceed as planned," said Samsung in a statement.
The South Korean IT giant followed its words to slated Galaxy S3’s release date to June 21 in the United States, and this smartphone is available at AT&T website for preorders now.
The Galaxy S3 cartons a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display. AT&T Galaxy S3 devices run on dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processors with 2GB of RAM. The device has 16/32GB of internal storage with microSD card support up to 64GB. Samsung will also be launching a 64GB variant of Galaxy S3 later this year. The price for the 16GB model is $199.99 and for the 32GB model is $249.99, just as previously announced.
In the European market, Samsung Galaxy S3 has a better sell than Apple’s pride iPhones. Analysts believe that the Korean phone maker will also sell “a lot of Galaxy S3 phones” in US market.
