The rumors are piling up on the new MacBook Pro 2012 as the World Wide Developers Conference is coming up in a week. And if this new laptop from Apple unveiled to be what the rumors claim, it may be worth switching your computer this summer.
Perhaps the most intriguing piece of rumor would be its high-resolution Retina Display, similar to that of the iPhone 4 and the new iPad. Consumers were amazed at the display of iPhone and iPad products. If the Retina Display is indeed going to be featured in the 15-inch laptop, this could be eye shattering.
According to an inner source reported by 9to5mac, the display is “jaw-dropping”.
Rumors also suggest that it will feature multiple Retina resolution modes, allowing the users to adjust the resolution to their needs.
The new laptop is also alleged to be equipped with the latest chip by Intel, the Ivy Bridge, for the fast processing. The USB 3.0 is also expected to up its transfer speed.
Apple fans have been speculating that the new MacBook Pro will be thinner than the previous versions. This is not that surprising, considering Apple has the ability to make the extra-thin MacBook Air. Although the design will be considerably different between the two models, not too many doubts that the new MacBook Pro will be thinner.
However, don’t be surprised when it doesn’t. Some thought the new iPad was going to be thinner than the iPad 2.
