Sony Hong Kong has finally let slip details regarding DLC for Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 was released to an eager audience in March this past year, but audiences expressed a great deal of disappointment with the games ending to the trilogy, declaring the many choices players made throughout the course of the game had little effect on the ending. In response to audience receptions, Mass Effect creator BioWare promised it would "fix" the ending with DLC.
But this was not that highly anticipated DLC.
Instead, it was for a multiplayer pack called, "Rebellion."
According to Kotaku, a description of the DLC read, "The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade's jungle reservoir and Friebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues - hold the line!"
The description was taken down shortly after it went up. While the site listed the release date for the DLC as today (for Asia at least), details regarding this DLC (or any other) and a possible US release or cost is yet to be seen.
