Dark Knight Rises: 10 New Photos Reveal Bane Brawl, Cat Burglary, and More

New images from the Dark Knight Rises have hit the web soon after a photo gallery featuring "Catwoman" and "Bane" were leaked from Entertainment Weekly.

The newest set of high quality photos from Warner Bros. shows actor Christian Bale as "Batman", duking it out with terrorist villain "Bane," played by Tom Hardy.

In another photo, Bruce Wayne stands in front of his batsuit display inside the Batcave.  A clear photo of batman in his new suit reveals him staring into a spotlight atop the city skyline of Gotham City.

The final two sets of photos shows Bane staring into the camera inside a dark prison, possibly where he converses with an unmasked Bruce Wayne.  The final photo pits both Batman and Bane in hand-to-hand combat amongst an angry mob.

For fans who have been following news about The Dark Knight Rises, some of these photos will look very familiar to scenes from the official trailer.  Unlike past photos where fans caught a glimpse of Batman's new rifle powered gadget and Batpod, the latest photos did not reveal much.

With the massive built up hype from Batman followers, The Dark Knight Rises may find no need to heavily market the upcoming film.  Though Warner Brothers has been generous this week with today's batch of images and from Entertainment Weekly's upcoming issue.

Overall the cast and entire production team has been tight lipped about The Dark Knight Rises.  It wasn't until this week that director Christopher Nolan opened up with tidbits of information about the upcoming Batman film.  He describes the two new characters Bane and Catwoman in an interview with Empire Magazine.

In regards to Bane, Nolan said:  "He represents formidable physical strength, combined with absolute evil of intention,"

As for Catwoman, he describes her as a "world class criminal" who is a "shifty cipher" and "calloused survivor."

Photos from Entertainment Weekly shows actress Anne Hathaway gracing the latest cover issue with co-star Batman. Inside the issue are photos of Bane holding hostages at a Stock Exchange and other snapshots include Bruce Wayne, Alfred, John Blake, and Lucious Fox.

The latest PG-13 rating labeled for The Dark Knight Rises also clued in fans that the film has completed filming and either all or a majority of the editing is complete.  For the time being, we'll see what marketing or promotional items Warner Bros. will be tossing our way in the near future.

The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theatres July 20th.
