The popular AMC TV series The Walking Dead, will be getting it own video game. Publishing company Telltale Games will be working on the adaptation. The company plans to bring the zombie drama series seen on television sets across the nation into a playable game for consoles and PCs.
Telltale Games released the first trailer that looks to bring a combination of horror gameplay with epic storytelling. In less than two minutes, the video sets the scene with a showcase of cell shaded graphics and environments. No official video gameplay yet, but a second trailer is scheduled for sometime today.
According to reports, the video game plot will differ from the TV series. The main characters will not follow any of the existing cast but instead allow players to follow Lee Everett "a man convicted of a crime, but who is offered a chance at redemption...albeit in a world overtaken by walkers." The game plans on a episodic release that follows alongside each of The Walking Dead's seasons starting with season three.
