Blizzard's newest expansion World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria released new information ranging from world maps, bestiary, zones, and the new female pandaren. Since the first announcement of Mists of Pandaria last year, fans have followed updates on its expansion pack. Blizzard's latest expansion on the World of Warcraft franchise will allow millions of gamers to explore a new online world and control a variety of races, including the new pandaren.
The Pandaren is WoW's first neutral race which can choose to fight alongside the Horde or Alliance. Though capable of fighting with an array of kung fu moves, the pandaren are mostly peace loving characters.
"It's called 'World of Warcraft,' not 'World of Peacecraft,'" said Blizzard's Sr. Vice President of Story and Franchise, Chris Metzen.
Blizzard's CEO Mike Morhaime also spoke about the latest expansion.
"Players have been asking to see the pandaren in World of Warcraft since the game's launch, and we're excited to finally be able to give them a proper re-introduction to Azeroth."
Other new features listed on the WoW: Mists of Pandaria official website include new Zones & Dungeons, a world map of Pandaria, and new bestiary of races.
The Zones & Dungeons introduces new environments for characters to explores. Depending on their level, characters travel from The Wandering Isle, Jade Forest, Krasarang Wilds, Dread Wastes, to level 90's Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Blizzard has not announced an official release date for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.
