For 3 seasons, Adelaide Kane gracefully performed her role as the king's consort, and queen of France. Now, in "Reign" Season 4, the actress will be performing a much more intense role as Mary Stuart, queen of Scotland.
According to Gamenguide, the two monarchs, Elizabeth, played by Rachel Skarten, and Mary will have the greatest rivalry. Elizabeth will become Mary's greatest threat, and the two queens will have a deadly confrontation in "Reign" Season 4. Furthermore, it is speculated that the upcoming season will usher Elizabeth to behead Mary in the most humiliating way.
Now, rumors are rife that Adelaide Kane has been offered another renewal contract for season 5, however, Adelaide Kane turned it down. Insiders have divulged that the actress is signing up for a movie project. It is rumored that Adelaide Kane will also take a break from "Reign" Season 4 in mid-season, in which the plot will shift to the life of Elizabeth.
