"The Crown" Season 2 is now filming for its comeback on screen to bring to television the life, love and journey of the world's most powerful and longest reigning monarch. Claire Foy who plays Queen Elizabeth II is worried that the show will not be portrayed in a manner expected by the royalty but might even spur controversy.
It has been revealed by the show's creator Peter Morgan that "The Crown" Season 2, of which Netflix had ordered for two seasons, earmarked a huge amount of $100 million for production. He added in detail that the casts have started filming. Matt Smith, John Lithgow to play Sir Winston Churchill, Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret, Jared Harris (King George), Victoria Hamilton as Queen Elizabeth's mother have completed and proceeded with the review of the first two episodes.
According to Gamenguide, "The Crown" Season 2 will bring to the small screen 6 seasons that will unveil 60 episodes starting from the young queen's ascension to the throne of England. Claire Foy will depict an era of the queen's younger days and she is nervous and apprehensive of her role, particularly, the response of the Queen herself of how she is being portrayed.

A backward look at season 1 of "The Crown" Season 2, the young Princess Elizabeth of England and Phillip Mountbatten (Matt Smith) of Greece were engaged and got married in 1947. To portray a remake of the queen's ivory silk satin wedding dress, Netflix spent 30,000 pounds and enlisted the royal designer Norman Hartnell as reported by Dailymail. Similarly, with Foy's dress in "The Crown" Season 2, the Queen's gown was designed and created by Norman Hartnell.
