Looks like Gearbox thinks that everyone is already done with their playthrough of Borderlands 2's most recently released Headhunter Pack, Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, because the developer has been quick to provide new pics for the next Headhunter Pack, revealing the titular creature of Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax.
Seen above, it's not explicitly stated that the crustacean is actually the titular son of the legendary monster, but given the icy blue crab claws, ugly mug, the creature's gigantic proportions, I think it's safe to assume this monster is indeed his fishy spawn.
Sir Hammerlock Versus The Son Of Crawmerax promises to be the largest Headhunter Pack ever, bringing a fitting end for the game's DLC. The adventure begins with the Vault Hunters all set to unwind on a relaxing vacation on Wam Bam Island, along with Sir Hammerlock, Mordecai, Lilith, and Brick, but it's not long before Hammerlock gets kidnapped, and the crew sets out to find the unfortunate adventurer. They'll have to find him by tracking a new type of Varkid, a Bloodhunter, which will no doubt lead them to the biggest battle of the game yet against the crabby creature.
The environment is a nice change up from the cliff in Deep Fathoms that Crawmerax Sr. called home, with numerous beachy details like palm trees and an anchor surrounding the creature, who stands large enough to be considered its own island. Others pictures show off the environment's tropical feel, with cabanas, sandy shores, and clear blue water. Hell, even Hammerlock is enjoying a nice cocktail with one of those teeny umbrellas. Definitely explains the skins the pack will offer.

The pack will release officially at tax time, April 15. It'll be available on all platforms, and like the rest of the Headhunter Packs, will go for $2.99. It will be the last piece of DLC released for Borderlands 2.
