"Westworld" Season 2 will not be released until 2018 which made a lot of its fans crave for spoilers or any clue about the show. In the end of season 1, we saw the current situation in Westworld company, in the park, and to the hosts. We witnessed how Dolores killed Ford and other guests in the finale and this cliffhanger led to too many unanswered questions.
"Westworld" Season 2 Spoilers, Predictions
Ever since HBO's new series started airing, TV buffs begin to dig deep about what "Westworld" is all about. Aside from the fact that it is derived from a film of the same name, the whole story arc of Dolores, William, Teddy, Ford, Bernard and other characters in the show are new. Not to mention, this coming "Westworld" Season 2, it seems like the characters will be more involved in the park and in the company itself.
Now, if you are wondering if the show will ever be the same as the film, maybe you should drop it by now as "Westworld" Season 2 will be much more different from the last season and especially to the original story. However, there are speculations that maybe in season 2, just like in the film, the focus of the story will be in the guest's point of view. Since we saw the hosts perspective in season 1, this idea about giving the guests a chance to show the viewers their perspective could happen.
Ford's Death is Planned and Fake
Ford plays a major role in the host's lives inside the park, even the guests look up to him. However, we saw how Dolores murdered him while giving a toast to everybody. Is he really dead? The majority of the viewers and even "detective-like" fans are convinced that what happened to him in the finale is planned and fake and it has something to do with a big revelation in "Westworld" Season 2.
Fan theories for "Westworld" Season 2 suggest that Ford might be planning this ending for a very long time. If you noticed his speech, there's one part there that seems to mean something else. As he bid his goodbye to the people, he seems to be expecting Dolores to kill him in that very moment.
The Ford who died in the park might also be not the Ford we know. Maybe it was a host. He did it to Arnold a.k.a. Bernard, and it will not be surprising if he will create a host for himself. Besides, it will be an interesting revelation in "Westworld" Season 2. However, if Ford is really dead, will there be a new character in charge of the park or Charlotte Hale or Maeve will take over?
On the other hand, when asked about his character's fate in "Westworld" Season 2, Anthony Hopkins revealed to Mirror that he does not know anything about it and he can't answer a question that he is not sure of how to answer.
