"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" Update: Massive Open-World Map Features Revealed
According to Gamespot, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is set in the near future at Bolivia. It features one of Ubisoft's largest action-adventure open worlds. The open-world map is divided into 21 regions that contain their own civilian population, hamlets, towns, arterial roads and waterways. It also features 11 different ecosystems with their own unique animals, climates, plants and topology.
How big the open-world map in the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" still remains unknown. However, Polygon shows the images of the open-world map to give players a glimpse of what it looks like. Ubisoft has also revealed that the civilian population in each region has their own industry and way of living.
Benoit Martinez, the game's lead artist, and technical art director, has said that they have made a full agenda for non-player characters. Even if players do not interact with them, they will live their own life. These characters get up, go to work and go to bed at night.
