Sony has announced at PlayStation Experience 2016 that "Knack 2" is coming back to PlayStation 4 in the second half of 2017. It has unveiled "Knack 2" trailer and co-op multiplayer. It has also revealed that the sequel "Knack 2" fixes the shortcomings of its original version with new skills.

According to Kotaku, "Knack 2" will soon be available on PlayStation 4. Mark Cerny, the lead architect and producer on PlayStation 4, has revealed that the upcoming "Knack 2" is similar to "Crash Bandicoot" and "Katamari Damacy."
"Knack 2" features new IP and improved visuals. Its character is composed of multiple moving objects. This also shows that PlayStation 4 has the ability to deal with multiple small objects at once. "Knack 2" also allows on-screen co-op multiplayer. This allows players to work together in solving puzzles and defeating enemies.
