The long-running CBS soap "The Young and the Restless" is set to unveil the aftermath of Hilary's (Mishael Morgan) removal from GC Buzz, including Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) trying to deal with her break-up from Jack (Peter Bergman). Apart from the two scenarios, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will have another disagreement, while Mariah's (Camryn Grimes) attempt at stardom will fail miserably.
Mariah's first time on the job replacing Hilary as the host for GC Buzz will end in a very humiliating situation. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers for the week of Dec. 12 teased of Hilary's attempts to sabotage Mariah's hosting gig.
After confronting Devon (Bryton James) that hiring Mariah is the wrong move, Hilary will warn her rival that she should step down from the GC Buzz hosting post before she ruins the show, according to She Knows. However, Mariah's live broadcast accident where she tripped while modeling a dress from Chelsea's (Melissa Claire Egan) collection will impact the show's future.
Devon will have a difficult time trying to save GC Buzz's reputation. It appears that Devon may turn to Hilary for help, however, the former GC Buzz host will declare her independence from the show.
Photo stills for the CBS show's upcoming episodes featured Hilary and Devon in what appears to be a heated conversation. Posted on the network's official website, Devon may be forced to give Hilary another chance but she may not be as cooperative as Devon would have wanted.
"The Young and the Restless" episodes for the week of Dec. 12 will also feature a tense encounter between Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Despite their conflicting opinions and disagreements, Sharon will try to mend her strained relationship with her mother-in-law. However, Nikki will not be open to a potential reconciliation with Sharon.
