Sony has revealed the games included in the PlayStation Plus January 2025 package that extra and premium subscribers will have access to.
There are many new games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Jan. 21, 2025, which total 11 for the first month of the year. Some of the titles that are being introduced are classics from the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 era.

The new set of games follows "Like a Dragon: Ishin," which came to the subscription service in November 2024. Fans of the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's work can hop into "Like a Dragon Gaiden" this January 2025.
There is also "God of War Ragnarok" for fans of the franchise that is one of Sony's most popular first-party video game series. Additionally, subscribers will be able to play "Sayonara Wild Hearts," an engaging rhythm game with a touch of RPG action and combat, according to Game Spot.
The first "Citizen Sleeper" game is also available in the January 2025 games catalog for PlayStation Plus extra and Premium members. On top of the new arrivals, subscribers can also access the other games on the service, such as "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League," "Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe," and "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered."

Various Popular Titles
Another game coming to the service is "Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand," which has somewhat been under the radar despite being a good option to try out. "SD Gundam Battle Alliance" also makes its way to PlayStation Plus this month and brings the classic franchise to a wider audience.
Other titles that are being added to the games catalog this month are "ANNO: Mutationem," "Orcs Must Die 3," and "Poker Club" for regular subscribers. Extra and premium members will also be able to play "Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings" and "Medievil 2," Eurogamer said.
The most notable addition to the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog for January 2025 is "God of War Ragnarok," which is the sequel to the critically acclaimed "God of War." The latest entry follows the adventures of Kratos and his son Atreus.
On the other hand, "Like a Dragon Gaiden" tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu and how he faked his own death by abandoning his name in order to protect his family. He has found himself thrust into conflict by a mysterious figure that is trying to force him out of hiding and into the open, according to the PlayStation Blog.
