Week three of the Injustice Battle Arena is upon us, offering us our first real look at what kind of moves newcomer Aquaman has. The king of the seas takes on the half-man half-machine Cyborg, who seems to be pretty even balance between ranged and close up combat. It's not stated outright, but the two look like they're going to be dealing some major damage to what appears to be Wayne Manor. See for yourself below!
I really feel bad that Alfred's gonna have to clean all that up. Good thing Bats has got bucks to spare. A bit surprising Aquaman was dubbed the winner. Fight turnouts in the Battle Arena are decided by votes, and right or wrong, Aquaman has never been a fan favorite.
Next up, we have the undead bulk Solomon Grundy against Green Lantern. As you can probably tell by his size, Grundy is all about fighting close up, and can soak up hits as well he deals them out. His few ranged attacks look to be based on incapacitating his opponent so he can get in close for the kill. Lantern keeps things on the offensive, using projectile based attacks from his ring. He's quick enough and able to avoid Grundy if he's lucky, but it'll be interesting to see him go up against quicker opponents.
Looking at the roster, there's only four characters left to go, and based on who we've seen duke it out already, that leaves Deathstroke, Nightwing, Green Arrow, and Catwoman left to go. Unless we see some new characters introduced, that is. Fans can cast their votes here for next week's fight on Monday, February 25th.
Injustice: Gods Among Us comes to Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U April 16th.
