Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have been playing host to a battle showdown with the Injustice: Gods Among Us roster in the "Injustice Battle Arena." Fans vote for who they think would win in a match (they also get a chance to win prizes). It's also a great way to get a better look at some of the fighters.
First up, re-creating "The Dark Knight Rises" showdown, Batman goes up against Bane.
You really didn't have any doubt Batman would win, right? Next up, Wonder Woman against the Joker's girlfriend, Harley Quinn.
The cake is always a lie...
This last fight threw me for a bit of a loop, because it shows Killer Croc as more of a background character, and not playable one, which is disappointing.
It's a bit hard to tell as dialogue is limited in the two clips, but bravo if you noticed that both Kevin Conroy and Tara Strong will be reprising their voice roles as Batman and Harley Quinn respectively.
The brackets for the tournament show room for 16 characters total, which indicates that we'll see at least one new character show up before the determining fights come to a close. To date, 15 characters have been formally announced so far, those being Lex Luthor, Bane, Deathstroke, Batman, Superman, the Flash, Cyborg, Nightwing, Wonder Woman, the Joker, Green Arrow, Green Lanten, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Solomon Grundy, with even more on the way. According to the game's presentation at this year's EVO, there will be at least 24 playable characters and 15 arenas, of course, some of these could potentially offered as DLC.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to be released this April, for Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360.
