A new season of ABC's "Once Upon a Time" is all set to premiere next week, and fans will once again witness the adventures of their favorite fairytale heroes. The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) has returned but Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is in for more surprises in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6.
Plot details for "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 have already been released. The new season opens up with the premiere episode titled "The Savior." Storybrooke heroes are out to put a stop to Hyde's (Sam Witwer) evil deeds, but it was revealed that Emma will experience a side effect that everyone has yet to know about. Soon, Storybrooke will become a place for refugees who hail from the Land of Untold Stories.
While heroes try to fight off evil, fans can't help wonder what happens to the Captain Swan shipping. In the previous season, Emma had to go through a heartbreaking experience of losing Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), but now it's going to be different for the power couple. As teased by series co-creator Adam Horowitz, during an interview with TVLine, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will pick up from where it left off. It's going to be a romantic episode for Captain Swan shippers as Emma will confess her love for the very first time "without the duress of a life-or-death situation." But Horowitz continued to reveal that this will quickly change as there will always be life-and-death situations in the series.
Apart from the Evil Queen and Hyde, Emma will also deal with new faces, like Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) and Princess Jasmine (Karin David). Also on board for "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 is Jafar, played by Oded Fehr, Count of Monte Cristo (Craig Horner) and Morpheus (Giles Matthey). The new season will also reintroduce Raphael Sbarge's Archie Hopper, who was last seen in 2014. It's going to be another exciting trip to the fantasy world in "Once Upon A Time" Season 6, which premieres on Sept. 25, 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
