Many fans cringed at the prospect of replacing Gibson, overshadowing other good news about the series. Gibson reportedly had an on-set altercation with a one of the writers, prompting the showrunners to suspend the actor for two episodes. However, they then decided to fire the actor altogether much to fans protests and anger.
