Michael Scofield and the gang will be coming back soon for "Prison Break" Season 5. The action-drama TV series has caught the attention of the viewers since it was first released in 2009. Now on its fifth season, will Wentworth Miller still be the main actor for "Prison Break?"
Wentworth Miller's public announcement that he was gay in 2013 caused a ruckus among the fans of "Prison Break" Season 5 especially since he portrayed a tough prison guy with a good heart. That said, his fans had different opinions on his coming out but Miller said that he doesn't really care as long as he was true to himself.
As of now, two cast members of "Prison Break" Season 5 are currently part of "Legends Of Tomorrow." Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are busy with their respective roles on the CW show so they will have to juggle their shooting schedule.
Fox will be the home of "Prison Break" Season 5. The network has not been very generous in sharing some information pertaining to the show, simply saying that is is still in the post-production process. However, it has been reported that the main cast will still be intact, which would mean that Wentworth Miller will still be topbilling the show.
There will also be new members added to the cast of "Prison Break" Season 5. The fifth installment of "Prison Break" will reportedly have only ten episodes, noticeably shorter than the previous seasons. The shortened "Prison Break" Season 5 has aroused cancellation issues with fans believing that this could be the final season for "Prison Break" show.
There's no confirmatory statement yet on whether "Prison Break" Season 5 will be the last season. For now, fans just have to sit back and relax and wait for the premiere of "Prison Break" Season 5. Additionally, they will also have to expect some plot detours from the last aired season, since Paul Schering, the main writer, will not be working for Season 5.
