“Transformers 5: The Last Knight” is still a long way off but the new faces that will make up the fifth installment is slowly taking shape.
Already joining “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” is award-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins, as well as other new names like Jerrod Carmichael and Isabela Moner, reportedly the new female lead.
The latest addition is Laura Haddock who announced via Twitter of her role for “Transformers 5: The Last Knight”, a new project that will update her list of starring roles per Screen Rant. Haddock is best remembered for her roles in films like “Da Vinci’s Demons”, “Captain America: The First Avenger” and acting out “Meredith Quill” on “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

What role will she have?
Right now there is no clue on what role Haddock will have. She did take some indirect swipes at regular Mark Wahlberg (Cade Yeager), a light moment which eventually ended in Wahlberg welcoming Haddock to the “Transformers” family. With “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” obviously still in the planning stages, Haddock joins Hopkins as new additions whose roles have yet to be known.
Aside from Wahlberg, returning are Josh Dumamel (Lt. Colonel William Lennox) who has been a regular in the previous four films. “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” will also see the return of “Optimus Prime” and “Bumble Bee” for the “Autobots”. On the other end, “Megatron” will be back alongside “Barricade”.
In a previous post, GnG did touch on the car models that “Bumble Bee” and “Barricade” will be represented with. “Bumble Bee” will come in the form of a souped-up Camaro ZL1 while “Barricade” will be shown off with a sixth-generation Mustang police car as detailed on Motor Authority.
“Transformers 5: The Last Knight” will hit theaters on June 23, 2017 and will be directed once again by Michael Bay.
