Courtney Stodden is pregnant according to a new report. The teen bride revealed that she's expecting her first child with much older husband, Doug Hutchison. Despite the good news, Courtney Stodden shared that she's "dealing with a lot of stress."
“It’s a bittersweet time for me right now. I’m dealing with a lot of stress and emotions surrounding life and its ups and downs,” Courtney Stodden told Us Weekly. “Doug and I weren’t planning on going public with this so soon. I’m only four weeks along in my pregnancy. But some things are out of your control.”
The baby news comes as a surprise considering the fact that Courtney Stodden just recently shared that she's not ready to become a mother just yet.
“Oh boy! I don’t know if we’re ready for a baby right now,” she told In Touch in February. “We have two little fur babies, so those are kind of our babies right now. But, you never know!”
One of the reasons why Courtney Stodden is dealing with some drama in her life while pregnant is the fact that her own mother, Krista Keller, reportedly developed feelings for Hutchison which strained their mother-daughter relationship.
Courtney Stodden and Hutchison got married on 2011 when she was just 16 years old and the actor was 34. Their controversial relationship especially Courtney Stodden being a teen bride made them a favorite headline for gossip sites and magazines.
Courtney Stodden and Hutchison briefly split up in 2013 but later fixed their differences and got back together less than a year later.The 21-year-old recently revealed their plans to renew their vows on their fifth wedding anniversary.
Speaking to In Touch Magazine, Courtney Stodden said, "We're getting ready to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and we're absolutely going to renew our vows for our fifth wedding anniversary. So, yeah, we’re doing really, really well!”
