The launch date for the "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" is fast approaching and the game will be introduced with a new name Treasure Trove for the core experience. This name change is designed as a selling strategy that gives the buyers to purchase the game and future expansions as a freebie.
It was highlighted by Gamerant in its report that that the game players of "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" can avail of the three previous game stories, such as Shovel of Hope, Plague of Shadows expansion and the Specter of Torment under Treasure Trove. It is up to buyer to choose and buy from among the three game titles.
Meanwhile, it was highlighted in the report that "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" will allow gamers to engage in the "body swap" mode. This means that players can change gender of the characters while they are playing. The body swap mode will be launched together with the game's expansion.

In an update given by Gamenguide, "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" is being developed with big plans for its 2017 launch in April. It can be recalled that its design for both the paid and free versions of the game have content enhancements.
While the game is being made exclusive for the Nintendo Switch Amiibo-compatible platforms, it is also made available now for 3DS, PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" game developer, Yacht Club promised more surprises to gamers in 2017, like the four-player multi-player mode.
