A new physics-based survival city builder was just announced and its name is "All Will Fall" that currently has a playtest available for players on PC via Steam.

The upcoming title features the classic mechanics of a survival and city-builder game but adds the fun and often chaotic side of physics-based building. The game's premise already works to make "All Will Fall" stand out from other titles in the genre.

All Will Fall Playtest

What makes it even more interesting for players is that the physics-based building is very fun to play with and experience, especially in this particular genre. You follow the same basic principles as other city builders in "All Will Fall."

However, every structure you make is based on physics, which means that you have to carefully manage how you build your base to make sure that all does not, in fact, fall. If you do not make use of the proper supports, your structures will quickly topple to the ground, according to Vice.

The good news is that you will be helped by a crew whenever you succeed or fail in your endeavors. "All Will Fall" also features witty writing that keeps things fresh and exciting. The game also gives players a chance to encounter small events and make big decisions.

A Physics-Based Survival City Builder

One example of this is when the crew is getting attacked by a group of rogue seagulls that were hovering above the base. You can choose to have your misfit warriors fight the birds by sharpening sticks and keeping the flock away.

Some players describe "All Will Fall" as a mix of some very good city builders, such as "The Settlers" and "Frostpunk," but with a little bit of "Jenga" physics built it. The main challenge in the game is building on what little surface area you have, PCGamesN.

This aspect of the game, combined with its physics-based building, makes a rather tough city builder when it comes to keeping your structures standing tall. Another feature of "All Will Fall" is that the tide will go up and down, meaning that sometimes, your building areas will be submerged as well.

The Steam page of the game notes that the world in "All Will Fall" is dying and has been overtaken by the endless ocean. Players are put in the shoes of the leader of a small group of survivors who were left stranded on a rusty boat and are tasked with building a city, according to PCGamer.
