"Sword Art Online" game fans will soon experience two "Alicization Arc" characters. They will be able to recruit Alice Synthesis Thirty and Eugeo, as announced by Bandai Namco, the game's publisher.
Bandai Namco Made The Announcement Of The Additional Characters During The Dengeki Game Festival
The company shared the news during the recently held Dengeki Game Festival 2017, in which the two characters will be joining a total of four games of the series. Voice actors Ai Kayano and Nobunaga Shimazaki will be voicing Alice Synthesis Thirty and Eugeo respectively, Gematsu reported.
The four games of the "Sword Art Online" series includes "Accel World VS. Sword Art Online" for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The two characters will join in via its paid DLC (downloadable content) "Castaway from a Different World". The DLC will bring in Oberon, new quests and a new dungeon to explore. For "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" (PS4, PS Vita), the new characters will arrive via "Chapter 3: The One Who Resists God" DLC.
The iOS and Android version of the game, "Sword Art Online: Code Register" and "Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag" will also receive Alice Synthesis Thirty and Eugeo. The former will get an update later this month, while players of the latter can already scout the two new characters.
Free Update And DLCs Will Arrive To "Sword Art Online"
Bandai Namco also announced that a huge update will roll out to "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" on March 14, Tuesday. The update is tagged as "Warriors of the Sky" and will include Sacrament Dungeon 3 that will provide game fans eight new dungeons to explore. Fans would also be happy to know that the update will not cost them anything, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
Additionally, two DLC packs will also be available on the PlayStation Store and is again, free to download. They are "Lord of Inferno," which will provide a challenging raid boss, and "Missing Chest" that will allow gamers to get special items in exchange of their gold pieces.
