“Fallout 4” was one of last year’s major titles. The hype about it was real, where the internet was swarmed with memes of people taking a week off work, or not sleeping for three consecutive days. Apparently the hype has still not passed, as the modding community is as active as it was in the first few weeks of the game’s release.
The newest modification to “Fallout 4” will allow players to achieve their architectural dreams. PC Gamer informs that a group of independent modders has made directly sharing settlements possible. For those unfamiliar with the game, one of the main features in “Fallout 4” is the ability to build your own settlement, much like in a constructor game. Many people have created amazing buildings for the past one year, but sharing could only be done through screenshots and videos. Now, a mod has been created, which allows for direct exportation of models. This will allow players to trade settlements and the less crafty ones will be able to decorate their world with some amazing architecture too.
According to GameRant, operating the mod is surprisingly easy. All that the player has to do is download and install it. Afterwards, a holotape will appear in their pip-boy, which hold all of the instructions and abilities of the mod. Through the pip-boy, players will create the blueprint exportable files, which can later be traded with other players all over the internet. One of the mod’s most amazing feature is the deletion of a settlement. It could be done through a simple disappearance, but the mod’s creators preferred to add some beauty to it. The moment a settlement is deleted, a nuclear explosion will wipe it clean. There is no need to worry, as the explosion is harmless, mostly.
The mod’s official page on NexusMods offers a practical download link, video instructions and presentation of the mod and detailed instructions on how to install, operate and utilize the mod. Even though all architectural creations can be shared, it is impossible to share settlers or unique animals through the mod. Just keep it in mind. “Fallout 4” is available on PC, PS 4 and XBOX One.
